Does IQ support Biometric fingerprint recognition?

Yes


Note:


IQ only supports the Digital persona U.are.U 4500 USB fingerprint reader. 


Please do not install the driver from the Digital Persona website, download and install the driver by clicking here.


For remote desktop connectivity ensure that you install the driver on the server and client pc. 


Please consult your IQ Retail Business Partner to assist with the configuration. 


Steps:


To configure the Biometric feature for Debtors please follow the steps below.


Navigate to Company Defaults. 


Click on Default Settings 1.


Search for Enable Debtors Account Verification, select the tick block next to it, once select click on the Accept button. 


Navigate to Debtors.


Select an Account and Click on the Edit button or double click on the record. 



Click on the Additional Information tab.


Navigate to the Security section and select the Enable Account Verification option by clicking on the Click of Options button. 


The below dialog box will appear, here you can select which modules can utilise the functionality.
