QUICK BUTTONS IN POS AND SETUP

Overview:
To setup quick buttons in POS to assist with easier access to frequently used items/codes.

Notes
Practical steps to setup quick buttons:

- Enable POS Quick buttons in hardware setup, POS > POS Setup > Hardware Setup


Notes
- Select the Utilities Menu > Setup > Module Parameters > Processing Table > POS Quick
Buttons. There will be a setup screen to select stock items, or setup a grid to add to quick keys
in POS.
- There is also the option to change the colour of the buttons.

- There is also the option to add, edit and delete grid templates.

- When adding an item, it will be available to sell by clicking its button in POS.

- When clicking on setup group, a grid will appear to add either items or templates.

GROUP SETUP
- This is the blank slate to which items or other templates / sub-groups can be added.

ADDING A STOCK ITEM
- When clicking one of the buttons, the following options will appear. One can then either choose a stock item to assign to the button or a template previously setup.

Once the stock item has been selected the Search Stock item screen will appear, the selected item will appear on the screen.

NOTE: If the stock item has a picture added under Stock>Maintenance> Additional Details Tab>Picture.

ADDING A SUB-GROUP
- There is also an option to create, edit or delete sub-group templates. NOTE: the templates may not contain other templates, just items. These can then be added to the nine main grids.

QUICK BUTTON DISPLAY ON THE CASH SALE SCREEN
- The once the setup has done, the quick button will be available for use in POS>Cash Sale buttons will now be available on the left-hand side of the screen.

- When clicking an item, it will add the item to the grid with the quantity defined.

- When clicking a group, it will open the grid previously setup.

- The user can then define a quantity and click on an item to add it to the Cash sale.
