The following fields are required when creating new items:

  • Code

  • ItemCategory

  • Department

  • VatRate

IdeaNote:
ItemCategory is only required when creating non-stock items.

For existing items in the system, which fields are required?

When updating prices on existing items, you only need the Code field and the relevant SellPrice fields.
