Stock | Utilities | Stock Price update | For new and existing items

Question:
What fields are required to perform the stock import on new items?

Answer:
The following fields are required when creating new items:

• Code

• ItemCategory

• Department

• VatRate
  

Note:
ItemCategory is only required when creating non-stock items.

Queston:
For existing items in the system, which fields are required?

Answer:
When updating prices on existing items, you only need the Code field and the relevant SellPrice fields.
